Field Diary – Negro River series
After a 24-hour journey from Manaus, the DEGy Negro River Expedition finalize preparations at the mouth of the Jauaperi River (Roraima state) in search for Iracema caiana, an electric fish species whose only four specimen known to science were collected in 1968 at an inaccurately-described, nearby site.
